Another bucket list item crossed off this year! Dalvin and I made it to Niagara Falls and it was a serious dream come true! We just watched the entire series of The Office together and wanted to go after we saw Jim and Pam got married there! The area is not very touristy, meaning that there isn't much to do except enjoy the falls which was fine by us! We stayed at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino. This hotel is a 4 minute walk from the falls so we made it a point to go during the day and again at night to see the lights.
The rooms were so nice, we even had a lovely view of the Niagara river. The casino was fun (Dalvin loves them) and we had a delicious, romantic date night at their La Cascata Italian restaurant. The morning we left to head to Rochester for a friend's STUNNING wedding, we treated ourselves to a room service breakfast in bed. (THERE'S ALSO A TIM HORTONS IN THE HOTEL AND YA'LL MY LIFE IS FOREVER CHANGED)
The day our plane landed we checked into the hotel, had lunch and went straight to the falls. Getting around to the best views of the waterfalls was quite a walk, but the weather was perfect so it was very enjoyable. Of course we did the Maid of the Mist boat ride. It sounds hokey, but it was amazing! They give you ponchos, because you get very wet from going right into the falls. The views from it are gorgeous, so if you decide to visit, this attraction is a must!
Luckily we went right before tourist season kicks into high gear, so not only did we luck out with the perfect weather, but the flight and hotel prices were just right.

I hope you make it up that way at some point, it really is a great way to spend a weekend!
